Field Service Technician


As a Restoration Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for properly packing and moving items damaged by fire, water and mold from the loss site to a moving vehicle. You will work with the Project Manager as part of a packout team.

What You'll Do:
You and your team will… 
• Work together to provide exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack, and unpack customer belongings 
• Load and unload a 26-foot moving truck 
• Complete paperwork and payment collection 
• Safely operate the truck and perform daily truck inspections and moving equipment inventory checks 

What We’re Looking For:
We hire for attitude and train for skill; however, experience in general labor positions such as truck driving, construction, restoration, or warehouse labor is helpful. 
• High school diploma or GED 
• 18 years or older for movers; 21 years or older for drivers due to insurance restrictions 
• Ability to communicate professionally, verbally, and in writing, in English 
• Good work ethic and a positive, professional attitude 
• Physical stamina to lift/carry 75 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the day 
• Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and random drug screens

• Possess a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• Strong customer orientation with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of customer service principles and practices.

Working Conditions / Physical Abilities:
• Must be able to ride and/or operate a motor vehicle on a daily basis for extended periods of time.
• Climb in and out of vehicles and stairs.
• Continuously sits, walks, bends, crouches, kneels, climbs, lifts (occasionally above shoulder).
